| Name: Ivan Braginski Nicknames: You nickname him snowflake and you're dead. In St. Petersburgh he was known as 'Ваня the Smiley' ... this not being in the slightest a compliment from the Russian people. Maybe 'Communist bastard' by America who seems to harbour a deep rooted grudge for who knows what reason. Age: 17 years old (1994) Sex: Boy Sexual Orientation: Bi, it's really unknown as far as I'm concerned. Category: Aile Slavic-Baltic. School rank: High Room of your choice: 99
Personal story: Ivan grew up in a strikingly abusive mental environment after becoming 'another boy who never had a father after Leningrad'. His mother was a quick whip woman with no sensitive emotion for men from that point on. Including her young minded son who, among being intelligent to the point of blank, sombre stupidity, was never really given the time to fully develop morals for himself. She fleeted the country one night, not surprising knowing the cold his house aspired to be, and thus had him taken by social services without meaning to. In the KGB orphanage (becoming the head of a very red group if you know what I mean) Ivan grew up with a smile, solving complex problems in math, science and theory without much thought needed. Now he borders on the greatest minds of the century, if only he didn't burn his time over other less meaningful things... [[side notes, sometimes he'll skip the words 'the' 'is' 'a' because they don't exist in Russian or are rarely used in any context.]] Look: / not mandatory for existing character/ How is it in your head?: You're not very bright are you, comrade? Brrrrrrr~ I don't like this winter in general. The frost chills under my bones and makes be feel as hot headed as a Chukchi in an iceberg, da? Chukchi are funny... You're not familiar with Russian ethnic jokes? How sad, I had good one to tell. Once you've become one with Mother Russia all this won't matter because they'll be no one. Just one us. Like how family should be! Up close and never separate without ever hiding slimy, ugly things unless it's for your special protection (some people can't do things themselves). But a few ethnicity's are ok, like little Jao and his brother. They're so cute and tiny *pokes cheek heartily haha~* and listen to the rules unlike those bickering European tovarishch. Gilbert said something about drinking contest? Da? With beer? Pathetic. He wouldn't survive through one bottle, never-mind a sip from my father's old Vodka stash. He'll end up dead like tiny mouse on rug. Kolkolkol~
I want to be the best for everyone, I swear I'll do well! You have to like me after all. And if you don't, a little brute force never hurt anyone. In fact, abuse gives character. Without a little extra, where would strong Mother Russia be, da?
RP TEST: -
4:40 am, London time. Short useless preview to a few years back.
King's Cross railway station wasn't like most buildings where human bodies decided the way sound divided. The more there was, the less the echo.
In this ancient yet futuristic dome, nothing stopped sound once it was de-clenched. Thousands of voices rose tenfold, reaching the brownish sun blockers where the sun filtered only enough.
What they where speaking of, the boy wouldn’t have known. Everything English seemed to be mute, and the scenery moved in utter slow motion, muted and separated from body as well.
He felt his breath hitch when a man in uniform rudely kicked past an old beggar lady quivering a metal cup, gurgling in a language only one person here understood.
Wait... Since when did the elderly not put up a fight?
Back in the motherland, if you where happening to come past an old, blind babushka with shopping bags, you nearly had to hurl yourself against the street curb in protection against elbow to rib ramming. And now Ivan feared for her?
Babushka vs. Car
Ivan personally would chose the latter.
The gruff action stirred something up in his gut for reasons unknown and impetuously the bleachy haired Russian dived his boot down in a brutish stomp. That attention clutching echo exploded in front of the officer. Thus claiming stable territory in the presence of an authority figure.
"Бабушка не собака. ((Babushka nye sobaka- Grandmother not a dog))" He said in a ripplingly soft voice, threatening merely by his size measured by age, without ever having to do anything but smile after the man stopped, stock still. Was this kid on steroids?
"What in the blazes are you speaking?" he blundered a snap, not understanding the dips of dread he suddenly felt.
Ivan giggled with shivering shoulders.
"Funny little man, don't k'hurt woman of my country."
Meanwhile, two uniformed men who were originals to this 'new nation' organization whispered with cupped hands as they watched their northern charge from a far, far distance (they liked it much better that way) and his first drop-in to a completely anglophone country.
"Does the fellow speak English?" One inquired to the other.
"I say, which fellow?"
"The big nosed fellow."
[[ Not done the RP test but I think I wrote enough to appeal. This isn't part of a fanfiction, I'm merely procrastinating with stale plot bunnies from my work. Feel free to critic...
To mention that only in special situations will I drive Ivan emotional like this. But you don't push around grandmothers, it's a no-brainer. I understand how he's supposed to be written but I'm starting at a bit of a different point then the other characters, changing the angle to create texture.]]]

| You can start wherever , and the main of the story happens in the chat box. Since this community has JUST been created its pretty empty for now though.
You don't have to be there every day, but if you leave for a while you gotta tell us about it ( I'll make a new thread for absences , but I can't right now cuz I'm on my iPod ) | |
