Personal story: Rory grew up in a rather hard family, their mother was alone, his father having died when he was just a young teen, and it was hard on him, being the eldest of the children and one of the only to understand the situation. He had become somewhat cold and angry after their father was gone, having to grow up fast and help his mother take care of the family. He didn’t find it fair, wishing he didn’t have so much responsibility. A growing tendency of the redhead’s was taking to bullying his youngest brother, which the other siblings unfortunately caught onto. It was a good way to take out his frustration.

Despite his childhood, Rory learned to cope well and dealt with his issues with a sharp sense of humor, becoming playful and tricky as a fox. However, his stuffing all his problems inside has side effects. His anger and upset get all bottled and so at times, Rory will have outbursts. If he’s lucky, he’ll simply be alone when this happens and the only casualties might be some smashed tableware or broken glasses.

Now, Rory can remain fairly mild and controlled, though he can’t help throw witty jokes around with everyone, teasing a daily task. To this day he will make fun of his brother, though he honestly doesn’t mean anything by it. He enjoys considering himself a bachelor, a real ladies man, even though he swings both ways. Not really close to anyone, the one person he is on good terms with, or at least he thinks he is, is his friend Francis.

Rory has a bit of a problem with drinking, and smoking as well. He had picked both up as a teenager, since their mother didn’t really care, and he uses his alcohol and smokes as a way to cope with life. One of his favorite activities is to spend his time alone or with a brother drinking Scotch and watching Doctor Who. It has been rumored that Rory is an even bigger Whovian than any of his brothers, and he even has a small Tardis keychain which he keeps all of his keys on.


Look: Rory has extremely messy, deep red hair he keeps parted in the middle, usually more or less on either side, varying from day to day. Mischievous dark green eyes and playful, thick and angled brows are what most can recognize him for. Tall and strong, Rory has a rather impressive build, yet still able to attain that elegance notorious to his higher class family. Rarely seen without a cigarette, his breath is always tainted with smoke and scotch, having a strong musk about him, though it’s not a bad scent, if anything, very alluring to some.
How is it in your head?: ‘Ello, my name’s Rory, pleasure to meet ye I suppose. I’m fairly kind, if you’re nice in turn, and I sure don’t mind having a drink out if you’re interested. Just be sure not to piss me off, I’m afraid I have just a bit of ah, well temper, you could call it. An’ I surely don’t have any aversion to fisticuffs, you’ve been warned. I won’t tease ye too terribly unless if you’re close to m’little brother, then I might have to kill ya! Kidding, of course. Why would I ever fathom that, haha.. Anyways, we’re all busy people here, aren’t we? You must have better things to do than hang about such a dashing lad as myself, hm? Well shoo then, be on your way, ye little bugger.

RP TEST: Rory sighed deeply as he sat up in bed, running his fingers through his tangled hair and lazily swung his legs over the side of the mattress. He had a feeling today would be another long, boring day at the academy, and he sure wasn’t looking forward to it. “Ya have to do it, Ror, come’on,” he muttered to himself, heaving his arse off the bed to get up and dress himself. Soon enough, garbed in the mandatory school uniform, the redhead was quickly brushing his hair, smoke wafting up through the air of the bathroom, a smoke perched upon his lips.
Eventually Rory had made his way out the door of his dorm, the cigarette he had been smoking safely put out and teeth scrubbed over twice simply for good measure. As much as he had wanted to just skip today and lie down in bed all day enjoying a Doctor Who marathon, that would have to wait. Strolling leisurely through the campus on the way to his first class, with nothing but a pen in his pocket, Rory couldn’t help but groan upon hearing an all too familiar noise.
“No, you idiot, I’m not taking your bloody pen, I’ll manage without one!” Said noise was the bickering of two insufferable twats, his dammed brother and that devious Frenchman.
“Stop being so inconsiderate, ye ungrateful prat,” Rory growled, shooting his brother a dirty look.
“He was tryin’ to be nice.” Arthur simply glared at him and the blonde gave him an appreciative look.
“Well who knows what he could have done with it!” Arthur spat accusingly towards Francis, who looked hurt.
“It’s just a pen, Angleterre, take it!” Sighing deeply, Rory snatched the pen from Francis and shoved it in his brother’s hand.
“Just take the bloody pen and shut up, alright?” Nodding to the both of them, he ruffled the Frenchman’s hair, chuckling, and continued on his way, choosing to ignore the Briton’s grumbling behind him.
